Footscray Rugby Club was formed in 1928 and has since become a pillar of Victorian rugby. Our club's rich history and enduring commitment to the sport are reflected in our contribution to Australian rugby, having produced five Wallabies players who embody the spirit of excellence.

Our senior men's, juniors, and women's teams proudly compete in the Premier Division of the Victorian Rugby Union and the Dewar Shield. Each team represents our club’s values of unity, respect, and determination, fostering a sense of belonging and pride both on and off the field.
