How to Register with Footscray Rugby Club
Registration Requirements
All participants must have a Rugby Xplorer account to register. Registrations can be completed via the app or Rugby Xplorer portal.
Step-by-Step Registration Process
Step 1: Create Your Rugby Xplorer Account
- Visit the Rugby Xplorer Portal: Go to https://myaccount.rugbyxplorer.com.au/
- Click "Log In" (top right corner)
- Select "Create Rugby Xplorer Account"
- Fill in your details:
- Email address (use your personal email, not a club/work email)
- Password
- Personal information
- Check your email for a verification link
- Click the verification link to activate your account
Step 2: Log In to Your Account
- Return to the Rugby Xplorer Portal
- Enter your email address and password
- Click "Sign In"
Step 3: Register with Footscray Rugby Club
- Click "Register" (found on the left-hand side menu)
- Search for "Footscray Rugby Club" in the club search
- Select your registration type:
- Senior Men's Player (18+)
- Women's Player
- Non-playing member (volunteers, committee)
- Choose your preferred team/grade if applicable
- Review and update your personal information if needed
Step 4: Complete Registration Details
- Fill in additional required information:
- Emergency contact details
- Medical information
- Player position preferences (if applicable)
- Accept terms and conditions
- Apply any discount codes if provided by the club
Step 5: Payment
- Review registration fees
- Select payment method
- Complete payment process
- Save your confirmation details
Step 6: Confirmation
- Receive confirmation email from Rugby Xplorer
- Check spam/junk folder if email doesn't arrive
- Contact the club if you don't receive confirmation within 24 hours

- First time registering? The system will guide you through creating your player profile
- Returning players: Rugby Xplorer may recognize your details from previous seasons
- Under 18s: Registration must be completed by parents/guardians

Q: I've never played rugby before. Can I still join?
A: Absolutely! We welcome complete beginners and have experienced coaches who specialize in teaching new players. Many of our current stars started with no rugby experience.
Q: What if I'm not very fit?
A: Rugby fitness comes with time and training. Our coaches work with players at all fitness levels to gradually build strength and endurance.
Q: Do I need my own equipment?
A: Basic training gear is all you need to start. The club can provide guidance on purchasing boots and other equipment. Game jerseys are provided.
Q: What's the time commitment?
A: Two training sessions per week plus Saturday matches. Additional social events are optional but encouraged!
Q: Are there age limits?
A: Senior rugby starts at 18. We welcome players well into their 40s+ depending on grade and fitness level.
